Phuket
Province; 2. Mealy Crab (Thaipotamon
chulabhorn), a freshwater crab named after Princess
Chulaphorn Walailak
to honour her 36th birthday and in Thai known as poo paeng (ปูแป้ง) or
poo thulakramom (ปูทูลกระหม่อม), i.e.
‘flour
crab’
and
‘Her Majesty's
crab’,
respectively; 3. Panda
Crab (Phricotelphusa sirindhorn), a species of crab found near waterfalls in
Prachuap Khirikhan
and
Phetburi,
and named after Princess
Sirindhorn.
In Thai, it is
known as poo
Chao Fah
(ปูเจ้าฟ้า), i.e.
‘Princess'
crab’;
and 4. Regal Crab (Thaiphusa sirikit),
named in honour of Queen
Sirikit Kitthiyagon
and
in Thai known as poo rachini (ปูราชินี), i.e.
‘Queen's
