The 4th Regiment of the Special Forces in Phitsanulok is an elite unit of the Royal Thai Army (fig.), a branch of the Royal Thai Armed Forces (fig.). Its primary mission is to carry out specialized and unconventional warfare operations. This regiment operates under the Royal Thai Army Special Warfare Command, headquartered in Lopburi. The 4th Regiment comprises two Airborne Battalions, highly trained in rapid deployment, parachuting, vertical insertion, reconnaissance, and high-impact operations.
