The Santa Cruz Church, located on the western bank of the Chao Phraya River, in Thonburi. It was constructed in 1913, during the reign of King Rama VI, and designed by Mario Tamagno, the Italian architect who between 1907 and 1915 collaborated with architect Annibale Rigotti and engineer Carlo Allegri to design the Ananta Samahkom Hall (fig.).
