A young male Pink-necked Green pigeon spotted in a forested area near My Son (fig.), in central Vietnam. Unlike females, it has a grey head and throat, and a pinkish-purple upper breast and neck.

Yet, similar to females, it also has a yellow stripe in the wings, a yellow tinge on the belly and mixed dark green and yellow thighs.
