  phra prajam wan (Hinduism)

Thailand

Phra prajam wan is a system of worship in Hinduism, which has an image for each day of the week. Additionally Rahu and his tail Ketu are also personified.

Nine images are thus positioned in a square three by three and each faces a certain direction. Worshippers walk clockwise around the shrine and stop to pray or make an offering to the image that corresponds with their birthday.
