A species of Parasa Moth, with the Thai name mot non nahm sen khob khao (มอธหนอนหนามเส้นขอบขาว). It is rather furry with feathery plumose antennae, and is overall blackish chestnut in colour, with a large green, white-edged spot on the forewings.

It strongly resembles Parasa pseudo repanda and Parasa repanda, but in this species the dark band totally splits the green field in the front of the wing.
