To mark the annual National Children's Day, by using the first prize-winning drawings from the student drawings competition during the 1988 International Letter Writing Week, entitled Sports. Design 1 is from the boy Pethai Setharangsi (ด.ช. เพทาย เสฎฐรังสี), the winner of the category for children up to 12 years old, and design 2 is made by the boy Chaleum Wongpim (นาย เฉลิม วงพิมพ์), winner in the category for students between 12 and 16 years of age.

Illustrations of Thai children at play: 1. a vivid drawing of four children enjoying rope-jumping; 2. a watercolour painting of two boys in sporting outfits, of which one is holding a football and has his arm around the other's neck and shoulder, whilst the other carries a shoulder bag and a badminton racket, while holding the other at the waist, thus expressing close friendship among sportsmen, even of different disciplines, and in the background are some vague aquarelles of people playing different kinds of sports, including swimming, football, basketball, takraw, table tennis or ping pong, badminton and volleyball.
