The Unified Memorial of Hope, located at the southern bank of the Ben Hai River, in straight line with the southern bridgehead of the Hien Luong Bridge at the Demilitarized Zone in Quang Tri (Quảng Trị) Province.

The bridge (fig.) con-nects Xuan Hoa (Xuân Ḥa) in Southern Viet-nam with Hien Luong (Hiền Lương) in Northern Vietnam. The monument is in the style of Socialist Realism and represents civilian war heroes and some mangrove or nipa palms (fig.).
