Lyle's Flying Foxes high up in a tree on the outskirts of Siam Reap. Apart from a golden-brown crown and lower body, this medium-sized flying fox is mostly blackish.

The wings each have a clawed thumb at the top, which is used to draw food to the mouth and for scratching, as seen in this individual which is scratching its nose with it.
