Large-billed Leaf Warbler
A Large-billed Leaf Warbler perching on a tree branch in Bangkok.
This passerine bird belongs to the family Phylloscopidae, and has the scientific designation Phylloscopus magnirostris.
It is more commonly found in India and Myanmar, but unusual for Thailand.
It is similar to the Greenish Warbler (fig.), but has a stockier and dark-tipped bill, and two pale wing bars.
It is about 12.5 centimeters tall and has greenish-olive upperparts with a double pale wing bar and off-white underparts.
