Khao San Road is a famous tourist hub in Bangkok's subdistrict Banglamphoo. The street, which in the evening is closed off to traffic, was renovated in 2020, has a daily market and many shops that stay open until late.

The area is very popular with budget travellers and backpackers, and used to have a rather hippie-like atmosphere. There is a wide variety of pubs and bars, as well as low-budget hotels and guesthouses.

The walking street is one of the few places in Thailand where in the evening one can watch artists doing street performances. Khai San Road is popular and frequented by both tourists and expats, as well as by locals.
