Khao Sahm Muk, which
translates as
‘Three Porches Mountain’, is a small coastal
mountain in
Chonburi
and features on the provincial coat of arms (fig.).
It is located on a spit of land, roughly in between
Bang Saen Beach
(fig.)
and Ang Sila fishing village and
offers a panoramic view of the area.

This seashore hillock
is occupied by large groups of
Crab-eating Macaques,
that live here in the wild. They often obstruct traffic
and jump on cars visiting their habitat.
