  Kham Chanoht

Thailand

Besides being a Buddhist place of worship featuring several Buddha images, wat pah Kham Chanoht in Udonthani is also dedicated to veneration of the naga, and in addition to an elongated naga-bridge (fig.) statues of this mythical serpent are also abundantly present all over the compound, both in snake form and in semi-human form, as in these depictions of the female Chao Yah Sri Patum Mah Naki (fig.) and male Chao Poo Sri Sutho Nagaraat (fig.) that make up the balustrade of this silver-white edifice that houses a Buddha statue in the naakprok pose (fig.).

The temple's compound also has a corner with an altar featuring several statues of these snake-deities, as well as some other statues of the Buddha seated on a naga and of Reusi Phaya Naak, i.e. a reusi or hermit wearing a chadah-style crown (fig.) topped with a naga (fig.).
