Outside the breeding-season, the
Blue Crested Lizard, also referred to as
Indochinese Forest Lizard and Moustached Lizard is variably brownish-grey
with darker flank markings.
The white upper lip that extends to the upper part body,
as well as the reddish-brown blotches on the flanks,
that are also visible in the breeding season (fig.),
remain.

Including the tail, fully grown adults can grow up to
about 33.5 to 39.5 centimeters tall.
