The cross-border Thailand-Laos Friendship Bridge over the Mae Khong River, which connects Nong Kai with Vientiane. In the top right corner is a silhouette of the bridge, as well as the national flags of Thailand, Laos, and Australia, of which the government funded the construction of the bridge as development aid for Laos.
