Horseshoe Bat
A Horseshoe Bat, in Thai called kahng kahw mongkut or ‘Diadem Bat’, found hanging in an old Viet Cong tunnel in Cu Chi (fig.). Both names are descriptive of the broad, horseshoe-shaped anterior nose-leaf, that characterizes all bats in this family.
