The Thai History Museum, located at the banks of the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi, is a private project, featuring objects, text murals and life-sized effigies of important players from Siam's and Thailand's past.

It has two main buildings, one featuring themes of ancient Thai history, whilst the other, which is also known as WW II Museum, relates to the Death Railway.
