The emblem itself
consists of
ten-layered
chattra, i.e. the multi-layered
royal umbrella, with in front of it
a
chadah-style
crown, that represents the Great
Crown of Victory, with
underneath it the Thai number ten (๑๐),
representing the Crown Title of Rama X, as well as the King's initials M.V.K. (ม.ว.ก.),
referring to his name and his royal status as a member of the House of
Chakri (fig.).
Flanking the initials are a
mythological lion known as a
Singha (fig.),
and a
Gajasingha of
the type
Takkatoh
(fig.),
each holding another
ten-layered chattra.
Underneath this, in pink, is the Thai
number 72 (๗๒),
indicating the King's 72nd birthday, and at the bottom is a
pink banner with the golden text Phra Ratcha Phithi Maha Mongkhon Chaleum Phra
Chonmaphansa 6 Rop, 28 Karakadaakhom 2567 (พระราชพิธีมหามงคลเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา
๖ รอบ, ๒๘ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๖๗), which translates as The
Grand Royal Ceremony Celebrating
the 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, 28 July 2567,
with
BE 2567 being 2024 AD.
Furthermore,
the emblem
is embellished with floral and
kranok
motifs
(fig.).
