Brahminy Kites in flight
Brahminy Kites are still a common sight over the Bay of Phang Nga.
Here, they hunt for fish, especially near the island Koh Panyi, home of the Islamic sea gypsies.
This Brahminy Kite is joined by a much larger White-bellied Sea Eagle, here seen on the left (fig.). See also List of Thai Animal Names.
