The Bee Throne Hall within the grounds of the Golden Palace (fig.) in Bago, is an addition to the palace's Lion Throne Hall (fig.), which is located within the main U-shaped palace building.

It is located in front of the main palace building known as the Great Audience Hall, and next to the Royal Pond.

The original palace buildings were constructed in teak, with giant teakwood pillars, some with inscriptions.
