Amitabha with bhumisparsa mudra
Bronze images of Amitabha (fig.), with the bodhisattvas Guan Yin (fig.) and Ti Tsang Wang (fig.), of whom the latter is also known by the Sanskrit name Ksiti-garbha (fig.).
Here, Amitabha is depicted performing a bhumisparsa mudra (fig.), a pose which is by some claimed to be reserved for the Sakyamuni Buddha only, though with this image it seems that this claim can be challenged.
