a Silver Asian (Scleropages macrocephalus), i.e. a kind of
Asian
Dragonfish
or Asian Arowana (Scleropages formosus), similar to
the much slimmer Silver Arowana (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum)
from southern America, which widely occurs in Thailand, but
only as a popular aquaria fish (fig.),
and in Thai
called pla taphad (ปลาตะพัด);
