Haang jorakae or crocodile's tail, is the Thai designation for a succulent with the botanical name Aloe vera, which is an extremophyte, i.e. a plant extremophile, an extreme plant, that is evolutionarily adapted to thrive in environments characterized by a high degree of abiotic stress, in this case extreme heat and drought.
