naligah
In Thai, a watch, clock, or timepiece is referred to as naligah, yet the term is also used in compound words, such as naligah daed, i.e. ‘sundial’ (fig.), and ho naligah (หอนาฬิกา), which means ‘clock tower’ (fig.).
