Tham Khao Luang cave in
Phetchaburi, located approximately 5 kilometers
from Khao Wang palace mountain (fig.),
is illuminated by falling sunlight and is regarded as the largest and most
important cave in the province.
It is a Buddhist temple cave and
houses several
Buddha images, including one
cast under the royal command of King
Rama V in honour
of King
Rama III and
King
Rama IV.
