nahm mon (blessed water)
Nahm mon or ‘blessed water’ is used by Buddhist monks to bless believers or sacred objects, by sprinkling them with holy water, using a brush or tassel-like aspergillum made from bamboo. This religious action is known as rod nahm mon (fig.).
