Moo Deng, or ‘Bouncing Pig’, is a playful and charismatic pygmy hippopotamus that was born on 10 July 2024 at Khao Khiao Open Zoo in Chonburi (fig.). She captured hearts nationwide after going viral online for her bouncy energy and adorable appearance. Soon after, gadgets, merchandise, and stuffed cuddly toys featuring Moo Deng appeared and are now found nationwide.
