A male Scarlet Skimmer, spotted in Bắc Hà, a district in the northern Vietnamese province of Lào Cai.

It is scarlet red and has transparent wings with yellow and brown venation, and amber wing patches at the base of their wings (fig.).

Another male, spotted in Chiang Mai province, northern Thailand. This species is also known as Crimson Darter.
