Statue of Chao Phraya Wongsah Surasak, a high-ranking Siamese nobleman and statesman during the early Rattanakosin period, who served as Minister of Defence, or Samuha Kalahome, under King Rama II. He was born as Saeng Wongsah Roht (fig.) in 1768, and was a member of a prominent aristocratic family closely related to Queen Amarinthra.
