Wat Tha It is a Buddhist temple in Angthong with a stunning golden pagoda known as Phra That Chedi Sri Phoht Thong. It is named after its location in Ban Tha It (บ้านท่าอิฐ), and was built in 1761 in an area where originally there was a kiln used to make the bricks that were used for the construction of the nearby Wat Khun Inthapramoon (fig.), with its giant Buddha image (fig.). Whereas  ban (บ้าน) means ‘house’, it (อิฐ) means ‘brick’ and tha (ท่า) translates as ‘wharf’. Hence the name refers to the fact that this place was once the wharf from where the bricks were carried to the construction site.
