Virunchambang is the name of a giant or yak character in the Ramakien. He has a navy blue complexion and is usually depicted with a chadah-like, cockerel tail crown, that seen from the side, is wavy and arches backward at the tip. He couldn't fight against Rama thus he fled and hid in the foam of the ocean, but Hanuman caught him with his tail and killed him.
