  Veiled Lady (Bamboo Fungus)

A Veiled Lady, also commonly known as Bamboo Fungus, Bamboo Pith, Crinoline Stinkhorn, and Bridal Veil Stinkhorn, spotted in a forest in Chiang Mai. This a tropical mushroom is distinguished by its tall stalk and characteristic lacy, skirt-like structure called the indusium, which hangs down from beneath the cap. In Thai, it is known as hed yeua phai, which translates to Bamboo veil mushroom’.
