Tomb of Nguyen Emperor Minh Mang
The mausoleum of Nguyen Emperor Minh Mang is guarded by stone sculptures of elephants, horses and palace officials.
The tomb is located on the outskirts of the former imperial city of Hue, on the bank of the Perfume River (fig.).
It is the grave of the second emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, who reigned from 1820 until his death on 20 January 1841.
