The child-giant Thanh Giong, i.e. a Vietnamese mythical folk hero who defeated an invading army from China, riding his fire-breathing horse of iron. The three-year old boy volunteered for the task and grew into a giant when eating food from his mother and his village.

He is holding the bamboo stick which he pulled out from the ground after his iron staff broke in the midst of fighting, attacking the army of dwarfed soldiers in front of him. After being victorious, he ascended to the sky and was deified, becoming one of the Four Immortals.
