Thai Waterworks Museum
The in 2013 opened Thai Waterworks Museum at the Samsen Water Treatment Plant (fig.), in Bangkok's Phaya Thai District.
The museum is housed in the buildings of the former and country's first water purification plant.
It is divided into three parts, i.e. a pure water storing area, a pumping section and a filtering plant.
In this building, known as rohng kreu nahm (โรงเกรอะน้ำ), septic water was pumped into wooden barrels acquired in Belgium, where it was percolated.
