The male
Striped Blue Crow
has a wingspan of circa 9 centimeters
and
the underside of both
its
wings are brownish, with pale bluish-white marks along the outer edges of
the wings, that near the top spread out towards the center.
Above, the
forewings are identical to that of the female, i.e. glossy black, with a
blue patch on the outer apex, which is dotted with pale bluish-white spots.
It is somewhat reminiscent of
the
Magpie Crow(fig.).
