Sammakon is a village-like community in Bangkok's Saphaan Soong district, fenced off from most main roads and accessible only from a few sides. It is home to a number of freshwater lakes, adding to is tranquil environment.

Whereas the larger of a total of seven lakes have some lakeside homes, shops and restaurants, the shores of the smallest one, as well as a bigger lake known as Lake 1, have no buildings directly on their shores.

Whereas Lake 1 so far remains undeveloped, this could change over time, yet this seems unlikely for the smallest lake, as it is engirdled by a street necessary to access the houses surrounding it on the other side.
