The Red Powder-puff, an epithet for the up-to-five meter tall shrub Calliandra haematocephala, with its typifying tassel-like flowers, which is known in Thai as phu chomphu.

Its flowers can be either white with pink or red and it is hence also commonly called Pink Powder-puff and Blood-red Tassel-flower.
