Aphisek Dusit Throne Hall
Aphisek Dusit Throne Hall in Bangkok, in Thai known as Phra Tihnang Aphisek Dusit. It consists of a small one-storey, wooden edifice and was built in 1904, adjacent to Vimanmek Teak Mansion (fig.) and in a Moorish Gingerbread-style.
It was used exclusively for state occasions during the Rattanakosin period. Today it houses an impressive collection of silver jewellery, silk, and other Thai artifacts, under the auspices of the queen.
