  Phi Tah Khohn door guardians

Thailand

In Loei Province, the cradle of the Phi Tah Khohn Festival, ghostly figures are found all over, with some even being used as door guardians.

These ones, watching over the entrance to a local restaurant, each hold a staff in the form of a naga, i.e. another mythological creature.
