Giant Asian Pond Turtle
An Orange-headed Temple Terrapin. It is typified by the orange spots on its head and the pale dorsal midline on its carapace.
This species is also known as a Giant Asian Pond Turtle, and in Thai it is called tao waai, literally ‘rattan turtle’.
