Oncidium varicosum is the botanical name for a species of dwarf orchid in the subfamily Epidendroideaei. In English, it is commonly known as Dancing Lady Orchid.

This derives from the shape of its flowers which somewhat resemble dancers in a yellow dress. Hence, they are in Thailand likewise nicknamed ballerinas.
