The characteristic eaves brackets of Nonthaburi's old City Hall's balcony (fig.) have been made into a local emblem that has been introduced as an iconographic symbol of the city and province.

The eaves are fashioned in a triangle that supports the roof and features a star-like shape, a form that nowadays reappears decoratively in various local objects and edifices.
