Malaeng chi pa-khao is the Thai designation for a
Mayfly.
With this individual, spotted near the
Kok River (fig.)
in
Chiang Mai
and in the subimago stage,
the three distinctive long, thread-like tails,
which are present in all stages, are clearly visible, while the wings in
this second last instar are typically murky and fringed with tiny hairs,
against clear and transparent in the imago stage.
