The Vedic god Indra, ruler of the Tavatimsa heavens. He has a green complexion and is often depicted in mural paintings (fig.).

 

His mount (fig.) is the three-headed elephant Erawan (fig.) and depicted riding it he is the symbol of Bangkok (fig.).
