talents of King Bhumipol Adulyadej in various fields of art and sciences: 1. the King playing the saxophone, with in the background the musical notes of the song Falling Rain, composed by the King, as well as the Certificate of Honorary Membership awarded to the King by the Institute of Music and Arts of the City of Vienna; 2. painting  portrait, with in the background one of his majesty's graphic style paintings; 3. building a sailboat, with in the background some of his other engineering constructions; 4. in national sports uniform and the gold medal which he won at the 4th Southeast Asian Peninsular (SEAP) Games sail competition, with in the background the King operating his sailboat during the event in 1967; 5. taking a photograph, with in the background one of his photos showing a Royal Water Development Project; 6. writing at his desk, with in the background a picture of the literary works written by his majesty, titled ‘Nai In’, ‘Tito’, and the story of ‘Mahajanaka’; 7. feeding data into a computer, with in the background a map from the story of ‘Mahajanaka’, as well as a picture of the 1997 New Year postcard designed by the King, which has dots and lines reminiscent of Morse code, and besides the date and the usual New Year wishes has the text ‘Khit Kon Phoot, Phoot Laew Tham, Tham Lang Khit, Khit Kon Tham, Tham Laew Phoot, Phoot Lang Khit (คิด ก่อน พูด, พูด แล้ว ทำ, ทำ หลัง คิด, คิด ก่อน ทำ, ทำ แล้ว พูด, พูด หลัง คิด)’, which loosely translates as ‘Think Before [You] Speak, [Once] Said Do, Do After You Speak, Think Before [You] Do, [Once] Done Tell, Speak After [You] Thought’.
