NATURE & GASTRONOMY
Flame of the Forest
The Flame of the Forest, also known as Fountain Tree, bears large fluffy orange flowers that grow between eight to fifteen centimeters tall and which are attractive to birds.
Those birds include the Spectacled Spiderhunter (fig.) and the Grey-breasted Spiderhunter (fig.), that with their long, downward-curved bills can easily reach the nectar buried deep in these large flowers.
