The Northern Palm Squirrel is a kind of squirrel commonly found in northern India and which is also known as Five-striped Palm Squirrel.

The latter name clearly distinguishes it from the Three-striped Palm Squirrel, which is also known by the common name Indian Palm Squirrel. As seen in the above, Five-striped Palm Squirrels often appear in large numbers.
