free app for IOS and Android smartphones, on the auspicious
day of 11.12.'13. The app by Thailand Post is known as Stamp
Alive, and offers Augmented Reality (AR). |

Nong Duh Dih (น้องดูดี), i.e.
‘Little Brother
(or Sister) Look Good’, the mascot of Thailand's
National Broadcasting and
Tele-communications Commission
in
Bangkok
(NBTC), jumping out of the screen of a digital TV,
indicating virtual technology known as Augmented Reality
(AR). The
TV's screen is blue, with at the bottom half pale blue a
series of 1 and 0 binary numbers, and a
Map of Thailand
in the national tricolor called
thong chaht. In
the top right corner is the logo of the NBTC, i.e.
a
Garuda over a post
horn (fig.).
On the right side is the Thai text Duh Dih Tuk Bahn (ดูดีทุกบ้าน),
which could be translated as ‘Good
View [in] Every House (or Home)’. |
