The ‘Land of Angels’, known in Thai as Daen Thevada, i.e. the ‘Realm of the Thevada’ or ‘Divine Territory’, is a tropical forest garden in Chiang Mai (fig.).

This fairy-like waterfall park consists of a labyrinth-like tropical jungle with stunning  trees and turquoise streams that meander through tunnel caves.

These artificial caves have openings with waterfall curtains and can be accessed, often by wooden bridges, and feature pathways made up of islet-like tiles to step on.

Daen Thevada also has a kids play garden, as well as an animal section with child friendly pets, such as dwarf goats, rabbits, and parrots.
